Transportation & Mobility

Where the plan changes hourly and the record of why it changed does not exist.

Where it breaks

The parts that never made it into the process document.

None of this is a technology problem, which is why buying technology has not fixed it.

  1. 01

Dispatch decisions are made on a phone call. The decision is good and it leaves no trace, so the same problem is solved again next week.

  2. 02

Driver licences, insurance and vehicle documents expire quietly, and the expiry is discovered at a roadside check.

  3. 03

Every disruption is replanned by hand, and the quality of the replan depends on who is on shift.

  4. 04

A delay is known by three people in the depot and by none of the customers waiting for it.

What we would build

Narrow, boring, and in your environment.

Scoped against a boundary agreed in writing before anything is built, and built in increments you can evaluate one at a time.

  • An agent that watches the documents and the deadlines and escalates before the date, not after it.
  • Replanning that proposes the change with its cost, and a dispatcher who accepts or rejects it in one action.
  • Customer-facing status that comes from the same data the depot is using, rather than from a person retyping it.

Not negotiable

What the agent is not allowed to do here.

Every piece of this work has a line the automation does not cross, and it is cheaper to agree it now than to discover it in an incident. These are ours in transportation & mobility.

  • An agent proposes a replan. A dispatcher commits it. That order is not configurable.
  • Location and driver data are minimised and retained for a stated period, not kept because storage is cheap.
  • The system degrades to the manual process rather than to a wrong answer.

The six that apply to every engagement, whatever it is, are on the home page, and what an engagement costs is on pricing.

Tell us which of these is your week.

Three weeks of mapping tells you whether any of it is worth automating, and you keep the map whether or not you build with us. If it is not worth doing, we will say so.
